ABOUT TSC |

The Short Circuit is the definitive platform showcasing Indian and International short films in India.
The company has its roots in the cult Mocha Film Club. Mocha Film Club was founded by the promoters of The Short Circuit.
The film club was the pioneer of short films screenings in India in early ’03. Screening high calibre shorts from India and the world in Bombay, it managed to create a buzz about short film screening and more importantly make a perceptible impact in short film making, here in India.
Screening shorts continuously for three years, Mocha Film Club became a victim of its own popularity, as too many people cramped up the small Café Mocha which necessitated the need for a change in platform and identity.
The Short Circuit will continue the work of propagating the cause of shorts where Mocha Film Club has left and take the shorts movement to a much higher ground. The emphasis will be on shorts that bring a fresh vision and a unique understanding of the oft misunderstood genre of short films.
The Short Circuit will also push the boundaries of short film screenings here in India by collaborating with cutting edge artists, film and art organizations which shall provide a new impetus to the world of short films.
