Venue

Awishkar theatre group has been the pioneer of Marathi experimental plays. Their cozy space at Mahim Municipal School has provided a platform for theatre stalwarts like Vijay Tendulkar, Sulbha Deshpande etc.

In Sept. 2006, the group decided to form Cinemascoop- a creative collaboration between the documentary collective Vikalp and The Short Circuit to screen shorts and documentaries once a month at their space in Mahim.

Frequency, Day and Time

Screenings are held once a month.
Screening day of the month is not fixed and subject to change every month as its dependent on Awishkar’s schedule.
Time of the screening is usually at 7:30 pm. Special screenings or workshops are held at another time and day though.
